Agenda for week of 2.23.09

REMINDERS:
  • MONEY ($18) AND PERMISSION SLIPS ARE DUE ASAP FOR PLAY ON MARCH 5.
  • NEXT AP SATURDAY SESSION IS MARCH 21. MARK IT ON CALENDER. I THINK YOU WILL LIKE THIS LAST ONE; YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR SCORES AND RESULTS FROM THE PRACTICE TEST AND HAVE SOME COACHING ON ANSWERING THE THREE TYPES OF ESSAYS. PLUS, I WILL BE TEACHING AN 'ELECTIVE' ON POETRY IN TRANSLATION.

  • In class: Hamlet, finish Act 3.

  • Due: Hamlet video blog (1 of the 2 posted below) at noon.
  • Due: Hamlet notebooks. Act 1-3 complete with D.J.s for each scene and class notes.
  • In class: I will do a mini lesson on how to do an Annotated Bibliography. You will have the rest of the period to work on it.

  • Due: 1 thesis paragraph, 50 research cards, 20 cited sources. (see below for details)
  • Due: Read and 'mark up' Beckett's "End Game."
  • In class: We have a visitor from one of the actors--please prepare yourself to utilize him as a resource for your understanding of the play.
